From Christmas evening until December 27th to include accommodation, two full dinners, organic wholefood breakfast, welcome sherry and pies, starters puddings, healthy juice smoothies, wine and music.

Welcome to Hedgehog House Bed & Breakfast.

Hedgehog House is a detached Edwardian red-brick house with front and rear gardens. At Hedgehog House we have a friendly family atmosphere.

We offer vegetarian Bed & Breakfast facilities. We can also offer an evening meal by arrangement, with foods to cater for a range of tastes - vegetarian and vegan meals, organic where possible.

We have a no-smoking policy except on the veranda and decking, which overlook the garden. We have 1 cat and an aquarium - we welcome pets by arrangement.

We ask that guests remove shoes on entering the bedrooms for their comfort and safety. House slippers are available!

We are close to the town centre, with the High Street, Chalice Well, the Tor and Glastonbury Abbey all in walking distance. Hedgehog House is situated on Wells Road with views to St. Johns Church and Polden Hills.

The Shiatsu Dojo

Hedgehog House is the home of the Glastonbury Dojo and contains a Meditation/Yoga Room. Shiatsu therapy sessions are available.

We provide parking space for 2 cars and un-metered free on-street parking just outside. There is also a pay & display car park nearby.

Our Hot Tub

I now have a Canadian Spa hot tub cited on the Verandah. It is available for hire on site for a party of 6-7. I also have a colleague who will offer hot tub REBIRTHING in the New Year. The tub is available as a birthing pool and can be kept on all the time so there isn't a last minute rush to heat it up for the baby!!

I am training in Shiatsu for Maternity Care under Suzanne Yates of the Well Mother Centre, Bristol. My Practice is leaning towards shiatsu in fertility. As well as helping couples to conceive using traditional acupressure techniques, TCM and zen shiatsu I am employing the hot tub as a device to assist in pain relief peri-natally and of course for use a a birthing pool.

Shiatsu can be usefully employed at any point in the childbearing year to promote a healthier pregnancy, a more natural birth and a smooth transition to suckling, weaning and post-natal care.

The hot tub is sterilised by ACTIVE OXYGEN so no nasty chlorine!
