Zen Shiatsu

A relaxing, restorative treatment which is beneficial to health. Sessions take place at floor level on a futon with the client wearing light, loose clothing.

In each session the shiatsu practitioner may use the following 3 techniques:

  1. relaxed perpendicular pressure to key points and areas in the body.
  2. gentle stretching of the limbs to stimulate the energy pathways (meridians).
  3. mobilisation of joints.

Benefits

Regular sessions help to prevent the build up of stress in our daily lives and are deeply relaxing.
