Hedgehog House is also home to the Glastonbury Dojo, a dedicated theraputic space for the practise of Zen Shiatsu and Yoga.
Zen Shiatsu
A relaxing, restorative treatment which is beneficial to health. Sessions take place at floor level on a futon with the client wearing light, loose clothing.
In each session the shiatsu practitioner may use the following 3 techniques:
1 - relaxed perpendicular pressure to key points and areas in the body.
2 - gentle stretching of the limbs to stimulate the energy pathways (meridians).
3 - mobilisation of joints.
